Why "verified" matters when hiring an interior vendor

What verification actually checks, and the questions worth asking any vendor — verified or not — before you sign a quote.

A "verified" badge on a vendor profile means their business documentation and portfolio have been checked against real project history — it's not a popularity score.

Even with a verified vendor, ask:

- Can I see photos from a project completed in the last 6 months, not just their best-ever job? - What's the payment schedule, and how much is due before work starts? - Who handles it if something needs rework after installation? - Is the quote itemized by material and labor, or a single lump sum?

Verification narrows the field to vendors worth having this conversation with — it doesn't replace the conversation.
